We created atmospheres specific to Mauritius, playing on the island's multicultural influences. We wanted to avoid trendy design, preferring a contemporary atmosphere that rings of Mauritian tradition. A red resin carpet enhances the natural wood and stone in the Reception area. The communal areas provide a variety of possibilities depending on your mood: a lounge to shelter from the heat of the sun, the theatre with coffee tables and sofas and soft lighting, the lounge areas round the quiet pool with king size beds for reclining behind diaphonous coloured voile.Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet
